At least it's Friday

    Good grief: February is ending next week. Wasn't it just January a couple days ago? I guess the past three weeks being crammed into a few days explains why I'm so tired lol. Then again, the being tired could also be the not sleeping well, but I doubt that could be the problem.

I'm going to stick with a temporal compression having happened to me, which is totally more believable than reality, right? (And is my excuse for not getting as much writing done as I wanted to.)  
    To make up for not posting a part of my own story this week, I'm using today's space to show off work from a few other people I follow on Twitter. They're worth a look if you have the time :)

    I stumbled onto Samantha Mash's art over a year ago and started following her. When she put up a tweet that this print was for sale, I bought it. (Prints for this artwork are still for sale, by the way. And she has lots more.)
​    Her works add a splash of wonderful to my Twitter feed and she often posts comments on topics that I either enjoy learning more about, or should know about but don't because Own Voices hasn't been as promoted as they could have been over the years. Looking through her artwork on her website usually improves my day because I really do love her style. I totally recommend clicking the image to go check out her website.

    I picked up Lin Darrow's debut a while ago (okay, when it first came out) and I've been slowly reading through it... and enjoying every page. I'm not close to done -- because why should life let me read as much as I want to? -- but I like it so far.
    The image links to the Goodreads page, so if you're interested you can see what people who finished the book have to say. 
    Lin Darrow is usually found in webcomics (she's a co-creator of Shaderunners). Even only being a couple chapters in, I hope this isn't the first, only, and last book she writes.

    Alex Harrow's debut novel isn't "officially" released until Feb 25 (this coming Monday), but I picked up the ebook from Nine Star Press this morning. Pre-ordering for paper copies is open!
    I think I started following Alex on Twitter because they posted a tweet about a cane they were borrowing from a friend, and the description said the cane had flame detailing. They kindly posted a picture of this cane in the replies when I asked to see it. (Okay, I demanded to see it. The cane really is awesome, though, so the picture was worth demanding.)
​    Honestly, if this book is half as good as the writing excerpts Alex has been posting coming up to the release, I just got twice my money's worth in reading material.
